LEAD CARPENTER

We’re a tight-knit carpentry team known for our premium residential work across Sydney’s Inner West and Eastern Suburbs. We value leadership, integrity, and exceptional craftsmanship.
REQUIREMENTS
- Certificate III in Carpentry
- White card and relevant trade certifications
- Minimum 5 years post-apprenticeship experience
- Proven leadership experience managing teams and projects
- Own vehicle and tools
- Inner West location or willing to travel daily
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to read plans and coordinate with architects/designers
- Eye for detail and commitment to premium quality finishes
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and mentor carpentry teams (2-4 tradespeople)
- Manage project timelines and quality standards
- Coordinate with clients, architects, and project managers
- Stay hands-on with complex carpentry and joinery work
- Ensure workplace safety compliance across all sites
- Problem-solve technical challenges and provide solutions
- Conduct quality inspections and ensure premium finishes
- Train and develop junior carpenters
- Coordinate scheduling with other trades

CARPENTER (APPRENTICE)
Looking to kickstart your carpentry career with a close-knit, supportive team? We’re seeking an enthusiastic apprentice carpenter to join our family-like crew. We’re a boutique carpentry team specialising in residential projects mainly across Sydney’s Inner West and the Eastern Suburbs.
Our work spans renovations, roof and wall framing, extensions, cladding, decks, stairs and fences, window replacement, outdoor entertainment areas and detailed fitouts.
REQUIREMENTS
- Genuine passion for carpentry
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Good communication skills
- Driver’s license and own reliable transport
- White card
- Well-presented and professional demeanour
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN
- Custom residential carpentry skills

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Learn and assist with residential carpentry including renovations, decks, and fit-outs
- Help measure, cut, and assemble materials according to plans
- Install doors, windows, skirting boards, and stairs under supervision
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Load/unload materials and keep tools and work areas organised
